How to remove stamps from envelopes
Are you collecting stamps? Did you glue a stamp in a wrong place?
Well known method of steaming the stamp is not good. By the time the paper is wet, the stamp gets wet as well.
Here’s an easy way to remove the stamp without damaging it. You’ll need a flat pan, stove and a little bit of water.
1. Place the pan on the stove on low heat.
2. Add a few drops of water.
3. Place the envelope with stamp on this drop of water. The stamp facing up.
The water will boil very fast and create steam. After a few seconds you’ll be able to remove the stamp from the envelope without any problem and it will be relatively dry. Wipe out excess water with a towel and you are done.
