
It’s very important to keep your car battery clean. A dirty car battery can cause problems with starting and one day you might not be able to start your car at all.
You can easily clean the battery with regular baking soda and water. This mix works great for removing the built up on the battery terminals.
- mix a little bit of baking soda and water.
- apply this solution on the battery terminals. Not too much. You’ll see it will start bubbling. The baking soda will start neutralizing the acid on the battery terminals.
- scrub the terminals with an old toothbrush.
- rinse all the residue off the battery.

Did you know that it’s possible to fix small car dents yourself? Here’s a cool trick explaining how to remove the car dent with a regular a hair dryer and can of compressed air.
Most likely you already have the hair dryer at home and compressed air (computer duster) should be available in any local home improvement or computer store.
The dent removal technique is pretty simple. Heat up the damaged area with the hair dryer for a minute or two. After that turn the can with compressed air upside down and spray it on the dent.
If the damage is not too bad it should pop up back into the normal position.
Unfortunately, this trick doesn’t work on all car dents. But should be a good remedy for small dents.
