Bank of America closed my credit card without notice

Bank-of-America

Bank of America closed my credit card without even sending me a notice!

It was my backup credit card and I didn’t use it very often, didn’t carry any balance. I had $15000 credit limit on that card and kept it just in case of emergency.I had this card since 2001.

Two months ago I moved to a new location and instead of calling to Bank of America and changing my address over the phone, I decided to charge the card, get a bill and change my address in there. To my great surprize the card didn’t go through! The cashier tried two times and it didn’t work. How embarrassing was that! Finally I had to use my regular Charles Swhwab credit card (with 2% cash back).

Same evening I called to Bank of America and they confirmed that my account is closed. The customer service lady said they didn’t send me a notice becasue they didn’t have to! They closed my account because I didn’t use this card for 12 months.

If you want to close my account, do it but at least send me a notice.

Bank of America, screw you! I will never ever use your services again in my life.

Did you guys have same kind of experience with Bank of America?

Charles Schwab is the best bank for me so far.

I had that embarassing expeience with those morons too. I think that it’s very easy to be a good bank when everything is OK around, but nowdays it’s completely different.
    Screw Bank of America!

    Hey guys,
I think that this bank has a right to decide whether to work with you or not. Stop swearing them!
